Welcome

Sharing is caring!

Grab your coffee and read along with me!

Hey there Mama,

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I hope to bring encouragement and inspiration to Mamas through the triumphs and tribulations of motherhood. I wanted to take a little moment to introduce myself.

I’m a Catholic mama to three boys and currently expecting baby number four! I left my career as a speech-language pathologist in 2022 to stay home with my kids and homeschool. My husband is a public school teacher, sports coach, and resident DIYer and fixer of all things around our home! We have aspirations of having a small homestead someday with some land where our kids and roam and play but are currently content with building our current home and lot into our own little homestead. I’m a lover of hot beverages, reading, cooking/baking, gardening, and being outdoors. As a family we love to read books, play outside, hike, camp, watch movies, and go on both small and big adventures. The past couple of years we have been on a journey towards natural health and healing and much to my surprise it has become a passion of mine. Aspirations of a medicinal herb garden may just be in my future!

My hope with this blog is to share about our journey in homeschooling, homesteading, and working toward slow and intentional living with a healthy dose of adventure! Whether you are in the same boat as our family or on a different journey in motherhood I hope to provide some inspiration, encouragement, and knowledge that will help you along on your journey! They say “it takes a village” but man can it be hard to find the right village! I hope to be a part of your village. Someone that you can learn from or even learn on in those difficult moments (nap time anyone?)

I’ll leave you with this beautiful quote from the Venerable Joseph Cardinal Mindszenty:

“The most important person on earth is a mother. She cannot claim the honor of having built the Notre Dame Cathedral. She need not. She has built something more magnificent than any cathedral– a dwelling for an immortal soul. The tiny perfection of her baby’s body. The angels have not been blessed with such a grace. They cannot share in God’s creative miracle to bring new saints to Heaven. Only a human mother can. Mothers are closer to God the creator than any other creature. God joins forces with mothers in performing this act of creation…. What on God’s good earth is more glorious than this: to be a mother.”
